| Supplement Facts | Pau dArco is the inner bark of a South American tree. It has been used by traditional healers in Brazil, Argentina, Peru and other South American countries for centuries. How does it work? Modern researchers have largely focused on isolated constituents of Pau dArco, particularly it naphthoquinones including lapachol and anthraquinones including tabebuin. We believe that Pau dArcos benefits are due to the combined action of all the plants naturally occurring consituents, so using it in its whole form infused as a hot tea, is superior to the actions of isolated plant chemicals. When should I use it? Drink 1-3 cups daily, or as directed by your herbalist. How does it taste? It has an earthy taste-woody, astringent and slightly bitter. |

| Instructions | Directions: Brew Well to be Well. For maximum benefit, medicinal tea must be properly prepared. Pour 8 oz freshly boiled water over a tea bag in a ceramic cup. Cover cup and steep 10-15 minutes. Water temperature covering your cup and steeping time greatly influence the yield of beneficial components that will end up in your teacup! Gently squeeze the tea bag to release the remaining extractive. For a more concentrated brew, simmer 4-5 bags in 1 quart of water for 15 minutes. Drink 1-3 cups daily. |
